Day Four

On day four I woke up not totally sore. The weirdest thing is that my elbows hurt today. My stamina is increasing every day. I am able to do more push ups every day. I do not like all of the jumping jacks and jump roping. I am getting through the exercises easier though. Still sweating through them.

Day Three

I did not hurt near as much when I got up this morning. I did my dvd first thing this morning. I have realized that I need to take my inhaler before I do my exercises for my asthma. This is due to the fact that half way through I end up having an asthma attack. However, I did finish today's routine. All of it. I could definitely tell that my stamina is increasing. I could go longer and do more this time. I am ready to get to the point that I can do them all without the 5 second breathers.

Keep in mind that when you do these exercises that you will need to take a shower afterwards. I sweat during this exercise program. Even the girls in the video are sweating by the end of the beginners level.

Day Two

I woke up this morning in sooo much pain that I did not want to move. Those exercises that I did yesterday must be working. I tried to do them again today. I got though the warm up section (which really, really helped with the pain) and through one circuit of the exercise routine. At that point it hurt too much to continue. I hope that the pain starts to subside soon and I can actually get into the exercise routine easier. Off to ice myself and get some sleep.

Day One of a long journey

Today I started using 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels. This product says that you can "Lose up to 20 pounds in 30 days!" I am excited for the results. I used it for the first time today and I can say that before I tried this that I used to like Jillian. In the beginning I was like, "I think this will be good for me and I really like her." Half way through I started not liking her so very much and just wanted the torture to end. By the end of the DVD I decided that I really do not like her anymore and I just wanted to fall over and pass out. I hurt in places that I forgot could hurt. Two hours later I decided that she isn't so bad after all. I know tomorrow will hurt even worse.

Just for mention, I am 5"4' and 180 lbs. My BMI is just over 30. I have already lost 10 lbs through other means that I have tried. I sure am going to try to push myself everyday to do this DVD. I for sure cannot even fathom what those contestants on the Biggest Loser go through every day/all day with that kind of exercise as I could barely hold my own during the 20 minutes that I went through.
