Breastfeeding

I recently was in the hospital for pneumonia and was given an IV steroid for 2 days. What I was not told was that the IV steroid could decrease my milk supply and almost stop it. It has not quite been a week since going to the hospital and my milk supply has not returned. I started taking Mother's Milk, an herbal supplement, to increase my milk supply. I opted for the herbal supplement instead of the tea as I cannot stand tea. From time to time throughout the day I think that my supply may be increasing but I am not sure yet. I will be increasing my water intake today to see if it helps. I am limiting the amount of pacifier time and have not introduced formula. I am nursing on her demand.

Just got a treadmill this morning and got it home and set up. Used it for 22 minutes and went a mile. It was a decent start. I worked my butt off and sweated quite a bit. Now I need the motivation to do it every day.

Update

In the last week I have gone from 175.3 lbs to 173.9 lbs. BMI has gone from 29.92 to 29.70. That makes a loss of 1.4 lbs in a week!

Now I need to start exercising on top of the diet change and JM Fat Burner.

As of this morning I have lost an additional .3 lbs. That puts me at 173.9 lbs with a BMI of 29.70.

Sad news is I did not lose any weight. Good news is I did not gain any either

....the birds have to use potholders to pull the worms out of the ground.

....the trees are whistling for the dogs.

 ....the best parking place is determined by shade instead of  distance

....hot water comes from both taps.

 ....you can make sun tea instantly. ....you learn that a seat belt buckle makes a pretty good branding iron. 

....the temperature drops below 95 F (35 C) and you feel a  little chilly. 
 
 ....you discover that in July it only takes two fingers to steer your car. 

....you discover that you can get sunburned through your car window. 
 
....you actually burn your hand opening the car door. 
 
....you break into a sweat the instant you step outside at  7:30 A.M. 
 
....your biggest bicycle wreck fear is, "What if I get 
          knocked out and end up lying on the pavement and cook to death"? 
 
....you realize that asphalt has a liquid stage. 
 
....the cows are giving evaporated milk. 
 
....farmers are feeding their chickens crushed ice to keep 
         them from laying boiled eggs 
 
 
         IT'S SO DRY IN OKLAHOMA That the Baptists are starting to baptize by sprinkling, 
 
         The Methodists are using wet-wipes, 
 
         Presbyterians are giving rain checks, 
 
         And the Catholics are praying for the wine to turn 
          back into water! 

Lost point 2 pounds since yesterday.
